Owner, Brittany Simmington, followed her lifelong dream and opened Studio West in the fall of 2021. Brittany grew up dancing competitively; training in all styles of dance. She began her teaching career at the age of 15 at her home studio and quickly discovered it  was something she loved and had a passion for. 

 

Brittany danced her way through college at the University of Minnesota, even training for a year in New Zealand. After she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts, Brittany moved to the West Coast where she spent 7 years teaching and choreographing for studios and dance teams in Washington and California. Brittany's dancers and choreography have been widely recognized, winning numerous choreography, high point and judge's choice awards and competitions and conventions across the United States. Her dance teams have also won numerous state titles. Most recently, she was the director of a competitive dance program in San Diego for 4 years before moving home to Minnesota. 

 

Brittany is thrilled to be back in her home state and can't wait to bring her vision for Studio West to life. She envisions a family oriented space where artists are created, goals are achieved and dancers are inspired. Brittany can't wait to welcome you home to Studio West.
