Sarah Norton

Instructor

Miss Sarah is a passionate and experienced dance educator with a deep love for working with young dancers. She began her dance journey at the age of 2 and trained for 16 years with the Kay Koch School of Dance. During that time, she performed on a traveling show line that brought dance to communities across the Twin Cities through performances at nursing homes, parades, county fairs, and more. Many of those years were also spent as a competitive dancer, helping shape the strong technical foundation and performance skills she brings to her teaching today.

Sarah spent ten years teaching a wide range of styles—from ballet and jazz to hip hop and lyrical—at a studio in Wisconsin, working with students of all ages, from toddlers to adults. Her greatest joy, however, is teaching "the littles," where she finds magic in their creativity, curiosity, and energy. Now proudly teaching at Studio West, Sarah creates a safe, encouraging classroom where dancers can express themselves, build confidence, and grow in their appreciation for what their bodies can do through movement. Her philosophy is rooted in nurturing both skill and self-esteem, ensuring each dancer feels seen, valued, and inspired.
